Conway Castle Built as part of Edward 1st's second campaign in North Wales, between 1283 and 1289. Like many of the other castles in the area it was designed by James of St George.
Carnarvon Castle is the traditional county town of the historic county of Carnarvonshire. The town is best known for its great stone castle, built by Edward I of England and consequently sometimes seen as a symbol of English domination.
